Series Synopsis
Set on a picturesque island town 40 miles off the New England coast, Widow’s Bay follows Mayor Tom Loftis, portrayed by Matthew Rhys. Loftis is determined to rejuvenate his struggling community, which suffers from a lack of modern amenities like Wi-Fi and reliable cellular service. He faces skepticism from superstitious locals who believe the island is cursed. Despite their doubts, Loftis aims to transform the town into a thriving tourist destination for the sake of his teenage son. As tourists begin to arrive, the town’s dark legends start to manifest, blending genuine horror with character-driven comedy.
