Deyneka’s experience in developing video and image models at Snapchat informed her vision to create an AI-powered video editor that automates the creation of short-form videos, eliminating the need for manual selection of clips, addition of effects, voiceover recording, and meticulous editing.
To use Reelful, users input a prompt describing the narrative they wish to convey—be it a travel summary, product demonstration, or event highlight. They then record a 30-second sample to create a voice clone and select relevant photos and videos from their camera roll. The app processes this input to plan the video, draft a script, generate an AI voiceover, and compile the final edit, complete with captions, music, and sound effects.
Notably, Reelful can animate still images into dynamic video clips. For instance, a photo of someone cutting a mango can be transformed into a short video depicting the slicing action. These AI-generated videos include a watermark to indicate their origin.
After the initial video generation, users have the option to further refine their content by interacting with the app to change the soundtrack, revise the script, or adjust other elements of the video.
