Flexible Window Resizing
Previously, iPhone Mirroring was confined to the iPhone’s native aspect ratio, limiting users to fixed window sizes. With macOS 27, users can now adjust the mirroring window to multiple aspect ratios. This flexibility allows for a more tailored viewing experience, accommodating various workflows and preferences. Depending on the selected aspect ratio, the mirrored display may present either a modified iPhone interface or, when available, an app’s iPad layout. The latest update resolves this issue, enabling users to watch DRM-enabled content, such as streaming service videos or rented movies, directly within the mirrored iPhone window on their Mac.
