The European Technology Network (ETN), a London-based live-streaming platform, is set to expand its programming to five days a week starting June 27. Founded by Luke Knight and Ronan Chambers in October 2025, ETN has quickly become a prominent voice in Europe’s tech scene, offering in-depth discussions on industry trends and news.
Initially broadcasting twice a week, ETN has amassed over 5 million views across platforms like X and YouTube. The show’s growing popularity has attracted a diverse array of guests, including startup founders, investors, and policymakers. Notable appearances have featured the founder of Syntheisa, the CFO of Legora, the founder of Granola, and Kanishka Narayan, the UK’s first AI Minister. Even American investors, such as those from Andreessen Horowitz, have made guest appearances during their visits to London.
To support this expansion, ETN has secured a $1.6 million seed funding round from prominent media entities, including Powerhouse Capital, Axel Springer SE (owner of Business Insider and Politico), and LadBible. Angel investors from OpenAI and DeepMind also participated in the round. This funding will facilitate ETN’s move to a larger studio in Kings Cross—a hub for London’s AI startups—and the growth of its team beyond the current eight members.
With the new daily schedule, ETN plans to host live shows from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. UK time, featuring discussions on trending tech stories followed by guest interviews. Upcoming guests include George Robson, a partner at Sequoia, and Rishi Sunak, former UK Prime Minister and current senior advisor to Anthropic and Microsoft. The expanded format will also introduce debates, roundtables, and a Shark Tank-style pitching segment.
ETN’s rapid growth reflects the accelerating pace of Europe’s tech ecosystem. In 2026, London startups have raised $14.7 billion, with six companies securing over $500 million each. These include Wayve, Superintelligence, ElevenLabs, Recursive, Ineffable Intelligence, and Isomorphic Labs, the latter three founded by DeepMind alumni.
By providing a platform that matches the speed and dynamism of the European tech scene, ETN aims to foster greater discourse around AI, venture capital, and technological innovation. The show’s revenue model relies on advertising, with sponsors like prediction market Polymarket, blockchain company Base, and AI audio firm ElevenLabs already on board.
ETN’s expansion underscores the growing demand for dedicated media platforms that can keep pace with Europe’s burgeoning tech industry. As the ecosystem continues to evolve, ETN’s commitment to providing timely and insightful content positions it as a central hub for tech discourse in the region.
