This winter, Apple TV is welcoming fresh holiday specials showcasing Snoopy and the Fraggles, expanding its festive line-up with new premieres and returning classics. Two major new specials—one featuring the Peanuts’ beloved beagle and another with the musical Fraggles—join Apple’s slate of seasonal streaming choices, available alongside fan favorites throughout the holidays.
New Specials to Look Forward To
“Snoopy Presents: 12 Days of Snoopy” arrives on Apple TV on Friday, November 13. In this story, Snoopy lands on the naughty list and must spend twelve days trying to redeem himself. Along his quest, he discovers that the holiday spirit involves more than just gifts. Apple TV is also bringing back a batch of Peanuts holiday specials. These include new adventures like “The Snoopy Show – Happiness is Holiday Traditions,” featuring a Christmas visit to Spike; “I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown,” where Spike plays a role in cheering up Rerun; and the timeless classic, “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” For a limited time, “A Charlie Brown Christmas” will be freely streamable from December 12 to December 13 for all viewers.
Fraggles Festivities Return
The Fraggles get their holiday musical special, “Fraggle Rock: A Holiday Gift,” premiering December 4. The Jim Henson Company’s production features a guest appearance by Nicole Scherzinger. In the special, Wembley—recently appointed Spirit Captain—sets out to spread holiday joy across the Rock. When a prized snow globe is taken from Doc’s workshop, it’s up to Wembley to make things right and learn that true celebration comes from acts of kindness.
Additionally, “The First Snow of Fraggle Rock” returns to the lineup. In that special, holiday excitement faces a setback when just one snowflake falls. Gobo, searching for inspiration for a new seasonal song, ventures to Outer Space in quest of the magic missing from Fraggle Rock.
Subscription Info & Access
New viewers who sign up for Apple TV via a qualifying device—such as an iPhone—can take advantage of a three-month free trial. Regular subscription prices apply afterward: $14.99 per month or $119.99 annually.
These additions deepen Apple TV’s holiday offerings, combining nostalgia with original content and bringing together different generations of family entertainment. Snoopy and the Fraggles hold a long-standing place in holiday media; expanding their stories with new specials signals Apple’s intent to balance legacy IP with fresh creative direction. What remains to be seen is how audiences will respond to these new entries—doing well with one classic may have moves Apple consider more such originals. The holiday season is a competitive streaming moment, and this slate gives Apple some strong festive cheer to offer.
