Apple is gearing up for a strong finish to 2026. Beyond the recently revealed Mac mini and Mac Studio, the tech giant is expected to roll out at least 13 additional products before the year closes, based on the latest rumor roundup.
What’s Next: iPhones, Watches, and Tablets
The iPhone lineup is undergoing major upgrades. The upcoming iPhone 18 Pro will include an A20 Pro chip, a more compact Dynamic Island, a simplified Camera Control button, and a new Dark Cherry color option. Its larger sibling, the iPhone 18 Pro Max, will mirror many of those upgrades but with a thicker frame for a larger battery and potentially a variable aperture camera reserved for this model.
Breaking new ground, Apple plans to unveil its first foldable iPhone—dubbed the iPhone Ultra. Rumors suggest it will feature a 7.7-inch inner display and a 5.3-inch outer screen, two rear cameras, a front-facing camera, and a Touch ID button instead of Face ID. The device is said to ship with iOS 27, bringing foldable-focused features like side-by-side app multitasking often seen in iPads.
On the wearable front, the Apple Watch Series 12 is expected, with a newer S11 chip, longer battery life, boosted fitness features, and the return of a ceramic case option. Alongside that, the Watch Ultra 4 is rumored to bring improved fitness tracking, enhanced satellite-based services—including Apple Maps and photo messaging—and while Touch ID was speculated, it now appears unlikely.

Fresh additions to Apple’s Mac lineup include a new iMac powered by the upcoming M6 chip, offered in new color variants, and a base 14-inch MacBook Pro model also expected to adopt the M6 chip.
Smart home devices are getting attention too. In audio, two new models of AirPods 5 are rumored—one with active noise cancellation, one without. There’s also talk of Beats 360, a premium over-ear pair with design elements from the AirPods Max, up to 1.75× stronger noise cancellation over the Beats Studio Pro, water resistance, and changeable parts for cushions and bands.
Wild Card: MacBook Ultra
Looking toward late 2026 or early 2027, Apple may debut a MacBook Ultra—a notable redesign. Expectations include M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, an OLED touch-screen display with a Dynamic Island, and a slimmer design. Alongside hardware, macOS 27 is believed to deliver a more touch-friendly experience tailored for this model.
