Apple TV’s Oliver Jones Joins Amazon MGM Studios to Lead U.K. Scripted Content

Oliver Jones, a seasoned executive at Apple TV, has announced his departure after six years to take on a new role at Amazon MGM Studios. During his tenure at Apple TV, Jones played a pivotal role in the development of acclaimed series such as Masters of the Air, Disclaimer, and Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, which is nearing the conclusion of its second season.

Nicole Clemens, Amazon MGM Studios’ Vice President and Head of International Originals, shared the news internally, highlighting Jones’s appointment as Senior Commissioner for U.K. Scripted Content. This move aligns with Amazon’s strategic initiative to enhance its portfolio for both U.K. and global audiences.

Reflecting on his transition, Jones expressed:
