What identifiers have turned up?
In total, 37 new device codes were spotted in Apple’s systems. Among them: seven identifiers tied to future iPhones, nine tied to new Mac models, eight for iPads, nine for Apple Watches, one for Apple TV, and three within Apple’s HomeAccessory lineup. The new iPhone IDs include models labeled iPhone19,1 through iPhone19,7—one more than the six phones currently rumored for Apple’s next lineup. However, that extra identifier may just be a variant rather than a completely new device.
Some of the newly surfaced identifiers appear to correspond to devices long expected in Apple’s roadmap. Among them: the Apple Watch Series 12 and Watch Ultra 4, a refreshed Apple TV, a smart home hub, an iMac powered by Apple’s M6 chip, new MacBook Pro models, and an OLED iPad mini. Other tied devices are less clear, but all suggest Apple’s preparing a broad slate of updates.
What this reveals—and what’s coming tomorrow
The timing of these backend updates, appearing less than 24 hours before Apple’s official event, suggests these identifiers map to hardware Apple is ready to announce. The rumored iPhone 18 lineup—made up of newer Pro, Ultra, Air, and base models—matches closely with the identifiers found. The extra iPhone code introduces room for speculation: either it’s a model variant or a surprise new phone.
Mac updates may include a new iMac with an M6 chip and several MacBook Pros, while Wearables updates—Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4—point toward the smartwatch side of Apple’s lineup seeing significant refreshes. The presence of a refreshed Apple TV and smart home hub also signals that Apple’s streaming and home ecosystem are receiving attention. And the OLED iPad mini identifier has long been expected to bring a display upgrade to its smaller tablet offering.
