Nothing’s CMF Unveils Wireless Speakers That Mimic Milk Cartons

Nothing’s design-driven CMF brand has entered the wireless speaker market with two new models that take inspiration from milk cartons. The speakers—CMF Speaker S and CMF Speaker M—blend playful aesthetics with a focus on sound quality and portability.

Speaker S: Compact Performer

The CMF Speaker S is a compact, single-driver speaker delivering 10 watts of power. Its battery is rated to last up to 18 hours. It supports Google Fast Pair for seamless setup, and can be teamed up with another unit to run in stereo or party mode. NFC pairing is built in, and it uses the same app platform as Nothing’s earbuds and headphones for control and customization.

Speaker M: Bigger Sound, Weather Ready

The CMF Speaker M steps things up with dual drivers—a 25 watt woofer for bass and a 10 watt tweeter for sharper highs—providing a richer soundstage. It adds serious durability too, featuring IP68-rated dust and water resistance for outdoor use. Like the smaller model, it includes NFC pairing and works with the Nothing X app. Both models use a multi-function knob to control volume, playback, and customizable actions, with colors and knob designs varying per finish. A dedicated rear button handles pairing and Auracast support.

Both models share the same quirky box-like styling that resembles milk cartons. They come in four color choices—black/gray, orange, white, and turquoise—with design details changing slightly depending on the finish.

Pricing starts at $59 for the Speaker S and $109 for the Speaker M. Both are now available for purchase.

Nothing’s move into wireless speakers marks a shift beyond its core lineup of earbuds and phones. By pairing bold design with solid feature sets—including long battery life, durable construction, and IP68 protection—the brand targets users who want portable audio that’s both stylish and functional. What to watch: how these speakers hold up in real-world conditions, user reception of their sound quality, and whether this milk-carton motif becomes a signature aesthetic across Nothing’s future products.
