Initially, the digital IDs will be accessible through the state’s official NC Wallet app. The subsequent integration with Apple Wallet aims to provide a seamless experience for iPhone users, enabling them to present their identification without the need for physical cards.
To gather user feedback and ensure the system meets residents’ needs, North Carolina is inviting participants for a 60-minute feedback session. Interested individuals can apply to participate and will receive a $50 digital gift card as a token of appreciation.
