Hisense XR10: High-Brightness Projector with Flexible Placement

Hisense has introduced the XR10, a high-performance laser projector that combines exceptional brightness with versatile placement options. This model is designed to deliver a superior viewing experience in various environments, thanks to its advanced features and thoughtful design.

Design and Build

The XR10 stands out with its modern aesthetic, featuring a prominent lens system that houses 17 high-temperature resistant glass elements. This design not only enhances the projector’s visual appeal but also contributes to its optical performance. The lens is positioned on the right side of the cube-shaped chassis, while the left side hosts an array of sensors responsible for automatic screen, keystone, and focus adjustments, facilitating effortless setup in different locations.

On top of the projector, there’s a power and volume control knob accompanied by a light sensor, adding to the device’s sleek appearance. The rear panel is equipped with three HDMI ports, two USB Type-A ports, and various audio and internet connections, providing ample connectivity options for diverse user needs.

Performance and Features

At the heart of the XR10 is a triple-color laser engine rated for 25,000 hours of operation. This engine supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HDR10 content, delivering a contrast ratio of 6,000:1. The inclusion of a manual light control mechanism, referred to as the IRIS, allows users to adjust light output across seven levels, balancing brightness and contrast to suit different viewing preferences.

The projector boasts a brightness of 6,000 ANSI lumens, ensuring clear and vivid images even in well-lit environments. It offers an optical zoom range from 0.84x to 2.0x, accommodating screen sizes between 65 inches and 300 inches. Additionally, the XR10 features a fully sealed microchannel liquid cooling system, enhancing heat dissipation and ensuring consistent performance over time.

For audio, the XR10 is equipped with integrated Devialet speakers, delivering high-quality sound that complements its impressive visual capabilities. The projector runs on Hisense’s VIDAA OS, providing access to popular streaming services and supporting Apple AirPlay and Miracast for seamless content sharing.

With its combination of high brightness, flexible installation options, and user-friendly features, the Hisense XR10 is poised to redefine home projection experiences, offering a compelling solution for both casual viewers and home theater enthusiasts.
