Google has officially introduced the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, the latest addition to its foldable smartphone lineup. This new model boasts a more robust hinge mechanism and lighter design compared to its predecessor. The device features a Super Actua outer display with a peak brightness of 3,600 nits, making both the inner and outer screens 20% brighter than before.
Under the hood, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is powered by Google’s Tensor G6 processor, which offers up to 20% improved power efficiency, 25% faster web browsing, and 15% quicker app loading times. The camera system has been upgraded with a 48-megapixel sensor capable of capturing more light, resulting in detailed photos across various lighting conditions. Additionally, the device supports digital zoom up to 30x, an improvement from the previous 20x limit.
In terms of design, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is 1mm thinner and approximately 20 grams lighter than its predecessor, thanks in part to a slightly reduced battery capacity of 4,750 mAh, down from 5,015 mAh. The device also supports 25W wireless charging, enhancing its charging capabilities.
Available in Olive and Obsidian color options, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is priced at $1,899. This release underscores Google’s commitment to advancing its hardware offerings in the competitive foldable smartphone market.
