Apple’s latest hardware is now available for pre-order, and some of the early deals are already attractive. The new OLED iPad mini, the M6 MacBook Pro, and the PROLED-display MacBook Pro all launched this week, giving buyers options with gift-card bonuses, trade-in credits, and price cuts on older models. Here’s a breakdown of what you can get right now.
New Devices & Pre-Order Offers
The OLED iPad mini is up for pre-order in three capacities: 128 GB for $699, 256 GB for $799, and 512 GB for $999. Best Buy is sweetening the deal with a free $50 gift card on any of these models. Amazon is also taking pre-orders, though it hasn’t matched Best Buy’s bonus yet. If you have an older iPad mini, Best Buy will offer up to $300 off when you trade it in toward the new model.
The M6 MacBook Pro starts at $1,999 for the 14-inch version (16 GB RAM, 1 TB storage). Higher RAM configurations are available, including a 32-GB variant priced around $2,399. Best Buy is offering a $100 gift card with any pre-order of the new M6 models—something Amazon hasn’t confirmed as of yet.
The new PROLED XDR MacBook Pro models, which introduce touch input and a glowing Apple logo, are positioned at the premium end. Prices span from $2,899 for the 14-inch, 24 GB RAM model to $5,399 for the 16-inch with 48 GB RAM and 2 TB storage. Best Buy is offering a $100 gift card on any of these new PROLED Macs, and also giving up to $1,360 off when trading in certain qualifying laptops.
Other Notable Deals & Price Drops
If you’re after a less expensive Mac, the M6 Mac mini has dropped in price at Amazon: the 24-GB/1-TB model is now $1,149.99, about $150 off. Less powerful configurations—including 16 GB RAM variants—are also discounted. These represent some of the best deals seen since the line’s release earlier in the fall.
Apple’s charging and travel accessories are also getting discounted: the World Travel Adapter Kit, 70 W and 140 W power adapters, and extension cables are available at reduced prices. Alongside these are deals on audio gear like AirPods Pro 3 (~20% off) and AirPods Max 2.
Lastly, other smaller but useful deals have popped up: case bundles for the OLED iPad mini, a record low on AirTag 2, and strong savings on various charging stations, travel gear, and futuristic accessories like modular headphones or air travel-friendly gadgets.
This wave of pre-orders and markdowns matters because it shows Apple’s transition toward OLED screens and touch-enabled Macs is officially underway. For buyers, Best Buy currently has the edge on gift-card deals, especially for the iPad mini and both the new M6 and PROLED MacBooks. Amazon may roll out direct cash savings in the coming days, so keeping an eye on both retailers could yield further discounts. If you’re not after every new feature, the Mac mini or older models could still offer excellent value during this release cycle.
