Apple is set to broaden the availability of its AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss plans for iPad and Apple Watch devices. Starting Tuesday, August 4, these plans will be accessible in Australia, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
These enhanced AppleCare+ plans offer coverage for up to two incidents of theft or loss every 12 months. Each incident is subject to a service fee. For instance, in the United Kingdom, the plan for an iPhone 17 Pro is priced at £11.99 per month or £239 upfront. If the device is lost or stolen, a service fee of £109 per incident applies.
In addition to theft and loss coverage, the plans include standard AppleCare+ benefits such as repairs for accidental damage and 24/7 priority technical support.
AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss was initially introduced for iPhones and has since expanded to include iPads and Apple Watches. This expansion reflects Apple’s commitment to providing comprehensive protection for its devices across a broader range of products and regions.
Alongside this expansion, Apple is also launching AppleCare One in the same four countries on August 4. AppleCare One is a bundled plan that offers coverage for multiple devices under a single subscription, providing a convenient option for users with multiple Apple products.
By extending these coverage options, Apple aims to offer its customers greater peace of mind and flexibility in protecting their devices against theft, loss, and accidental damage.
