Apple Music Subscription Prices Increase Across Plans

Apple has announced an increase in subscription prices for its Apple Music service and certain Apple One bundles in the United States. The individual Apple Music plan has risen by $1, now costing $11.99 per month. The Family plan has seen a $3 hike, bringing its monthly fee to $19.99, while the Student plan has increased by $1 to $6.99 per month.

Regarding Apple One, the individual plan remains at its previous price. However, the Family and Premier plans have each increased by $2, now priced at $27.95 and $39.95 per month, respectively. These adjustments also extend to other regions, including Brazil.

Apple attributes these price changes to escalating licensing costs. The last adjustment to Apple Music pricing occurred in October 2022.

In recent months, Apple has implemented several price increases across its product and service lines. In June 2026, the company raised prices on various devices, including Macs, iPads, and accessories, citing a global memory chip shortage that led to higher component costs. This shortage has significantly impacted the tech industry, affecting production and pricing strategies.

These consistent price adjustments reflect the broader challenges faced by the tech industry, including supply chain disruptions and increased operational costs. Consumers should anticipate potential further changes as companies navigate these ongoing economic pressures.
