Apple Increases Prices for Apple Music and Apple One Subscriptions

Apple has announced price increases for its Apple Music and Apple One subscription services in the United States and other regions. Effective immediately, the monthly fee for the Apple Music Individual plan has risen from $10.99 to $11.99. The Family plan now costs $19.99 per month, up from $16.99, while the Student plan has increased from $5.99 to $6.99.

In addition to these adjustments, Apple has also raised the prices of certain Apple One bundles. The Family plan now costs $27.95 per month, up from $25.95, and the Premier plan has increased from $37.95 to $39.95. The Individual plan remains unchanged at $19.95 per month.

These changes mark the first price increase for Apple Music in nearly four years. The last adjustment occurred in October 2022, when the Individual plan rose from $9.99 to $10.99 per month.

Earlier this year, Spotify announced its own price hikes, which Apple previously highlighted on social media. Despite the recent increases, Apple Music’s pricing remains competitive compared to Spotify’s current rates.

These adjustments reflect a broader trend of rising costs across the tech industry. As companies face increasing expenses, consumers may need to reassess the value they receive from their subscriptions. It’s essential for users to stay informed about these changes and consider how they impact their budgets and service choices.
