Apple Adds Refurbished MacBook Neo to Store Amid Price Hike

Apple has recently increased the base price of its MacBook Neo from $599 to $699. In response, the company has added the MacBook Neo to its Certified Refurbished store, offering consumers a more affordable option directly from Apple.

The refurbished MacBook Neo is available in two configurations: the 256GB model priced at $599 and the 512GB model with Touch ID at $679. Both versions come in four colors: Blush, Citrus, Indigo, and Silver. Apple’s Certified Refurbished products undergo a rigorous refurbishment process, are covered by a one-year limited warranty, and include a 14-day return policy. Each purchase comes with a 20W USB-C power adapter and a USB-C charging cable.

However, it’s worth noting that brand-new MacBook Neo units are currently available at lower prices through third-party retailers. For instance, Amazon is offering the 256GB model for $589 and the 512GB model with Touch ID for $689. These prices are below both Apple’s new retail and refurbished prices.

Given the current pricing landscape, consumers seeking the best value may find purchasing a new MacBook Neo from third-party retailers more advantageous than opting for a refurbished unit from Apple. It’s advisable to act promptly, as third-party prices may adjust to align with Apple’s recent price increases.
