TechCrunch Disrupt is back October 13–15 at San Francisco’s Moscone West—and you can help bring the startup stage to life. The event is calling on passionate individuals to join its volunteer team and play a hands-on role supporting early-stage founders, investors, and innovators shaping tech’s future.
What You’ll Be Doing
Volunteers are key to making Disrupt 2026 run smoothly. If you join, you’ll be helping with everything from facilitating founder pitches and enabling valuable networking moments, to building communal energy and delivering the experience attendees expect every year. You’ll be part of a team of over 100 people committed to making a meaningful impact across the startup ecosystem.
Volunteer Perks & Requirements
Here’s what’s expected:
- Commit at least 12 hours during the conference.
- Attend an in-person orientation on the afternoon of Monday, October 12.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Local applicants are preferred, though those from outside San Francisco are welcome.
In return, volunteers receive complimentary access to all three days of Disrupt 2026—giving you full entry to every session, announcement, and pitch.
Timeline & How to Apply
Applications are open now and will close on September 25. Orientations start the day before the conference. For those selected, the real work kicks off October 12, with full event participation from October 13 through October 15.
