Notably, the Pixel 11 Pro has omitted the built-in thermometer hardware present in previous models. However, Google has indicated that software support for the Pixel Thermometer app will continue for existing devices, ensuring users can still access temperature measurement features.
While the app has not received significant updates beyond the icon change, it remains accessible through the Google Health app. Users have expressed interest in additional features, such as a Quick Settings Tile for easier access, but such enhancements have yet to be implemented.
Version 1.0.947990598 of the Pixel Thermometer app is currently rolling out via the Play Store, though it has not yet reached all users.
