Pixel Buds Pro 2 to Launch in New Green Variant with Pixel 11

Google is set to introduce a new dark green variant of its Pixel Buds Pro 2, aligning with the upcoming Pixel 11 series, which is expected to feature similar green hues. This development follows a pattern where Google releases new color options for its earbuds alongside major smartphone launches.

Recently, an Amazon listing briefly showcased the Pixel Buds Pro 2 in a dark green color, reminiscent of the shades anticipated for the Pixel 11 series. Although the listing was promptly removed, the image revealed earbuds in a darker green tone compared to the phones but within the same color family. Additionally, this new color variant has been appearing on a Play Store rewards page for several weeks, indicating a coordinated release strategy.

Historically, Google has introduced new color variants of its earbuds to complement its smartphone releases. For instance, the Pixel Buds 2a were launched in a “Berry” color alongside the Pixel 10a, and the Pixel Buds Pro 2 debuted in “Moonstone” with the Pixel 10. This consistent approach suggests that the new green Pixel Buds Pro 2 will likely be unveiled alongside the Pixel 11 at Google’s event scheduled for August 12.

By offering matching color options across its devices, Google aims to provide a cohesive aesthetic for users who prefer a unified look for their tech accessories. This strategy not only enhances the visual appeal of the products but also strengthens brand identity and consumer loyalty.
