The images, including those labeled “HomePod mini 2,” indicate a design identical to the original model but refreshed in palette. In particular, the new “blue” appears lighter compared to the version now available.
The discovery comes through Apple’s own firmware, spotted by contributors examining internal files. These visuals suggest that the device is well along in development and could be introduced in the near future.
What HomePod Mini Offers & What Stays the Same
The original HomePod Mini launched in October 2020 with a 3.3-inch spherical build covered in mesh fabric, featuring a backlit touch surface for controls. It was powered by Apple’s S5 chip for computational audio, included a full-range driver, two passive radiators, and an acoustic waveguide for 360-degree sound.
