Google Home’s Gemini Expansion Accelerates Across Europe and Asia-Pacific
Google is significantly expanding the availability of its Gemini for Home features across Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. Anish Kattukaran, head of Google Home, announced that early access to Gemini for Home is being scaled up in these areas, with substantial progress made over the past two weeks and further rollouts planned for the coming week.
To expedite access, Google is clearing the queue for early access to Gemini for Home daily. Users in supported regions can opt-in through the Home app, which prioritizes their placement in the access list.
This expansion follows Google’s April announcement to extend Gemini for Home features to countries including Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, and New Zealand. A significant language expansion accompanied this rollout.
Google has been continuously enhancing Gemini for Home, with recent updates focusing on speed improvements and other refinements.
