Apple’s over-ear AirPods Max 2 headphones are currently discounted to $429 at Amazon, a $120 savings off the regular price of $549. Every color option is included in the sale, and Prime members in many regions can receive their order as soon as today, depending on delivery location.
The deal applies to all variations of the AirPods Max 2, meaning you can choose from classic or seasonal finishes with the same reduced price. Amazon has confirmed that units are in stock and ready to ship, with some customers seeing same-day delivery possibilities.
What You’re Getting
The AirPods Max 2 represent Apple’s flagship over-ear wireless headphones, offering high-fidelity audio, active noise cancellation, and a premium aluminum design. While specs weren’t detailed in this deal alert, these headphones are known for delivering spatial audio, adaptive transparency, and robust integration in the Apple ecosystem.
At full price, the typical MSRP for these headphones is $549, so the $429 price reflects roughly a 22 percent discount—a significant markdown for a high-end audio accessory straight from Apple.
Why This Deal Matters
For users who’ve been delaying the purchase of premium over-ear headphones, this marks one of the better price drops seen recently. Apple rarely discounts its headphones by this magnitude, especially not on color variants or with such immediate shipping available.
This sale is particularly timely considering Apple’s rumored upcoming releases in hardware and accessories. When new models or product refreshes drop, prices on existing devices often fall. This could be the lowest we’ll see this model until a possible successor is unveiled.
Whether you’re after high-end sound, immersive audio for media, or just a markdown on a premium build, this deal hits multiple sweet spots. If you’ve got the budget, now’s a strong time to grab AirPods Max 2.
Bottom line: Select Amazon listings are offering the AirPods Max 2 for $429 with free Prime shipping and all color options included. Supplies and delivery availability vary by ZIP.
Why it matters: This kind of price cut on premium Apple headphones is rare and signals a perfect moment to buy before any rumored new models surface, potentially shifting price expectations across Apple’s audio lineup.
