- Correction of a problem where the camera app would freeze when changing zoom levels during video recording, impacting Pixel 10 through Pixel 10a devices.
- Fix for occasional camera service crashes that affected overall system stability, applicable to Pixel 6 through Pixel 10a models.
These improvements aim to provide a more reliable and seamless photography experience for Pixel users. The update is being distributed gradually, so users are encouraged to check the Play Store for availability.
Looking ahead, significant feature updates are anticipated to coincide with the launch of the Pixel 11 series. The last major visual overhaul occurred in October 2025 with the introduction of the Material 3 Expressive redesign in version 10.1. Therefore, substantial changes are not expected until the release of the 2026 Pixel devices. Additionally, existing Pixel models may receive new features and enhancements in the upcoming Pixel Feature Drop scheduled for September.
