Apple’s Beats brand has introduced a new orange variant of its Solo Buds, now exclusively available at Best Buy in the United States. This addition expands the color options for the entry-level earbuds, which were initially launched in June 2024.
The Beats Solo Buds are designed to offer quality audio performance at an affordable price point. They provide up to 18 hours of battery life directly in the earbuds, thanks to their efficient design. The compact carrying case, while lacking an internal battery, supports wired charging via a USB-C port. At launch, the Solo Buds were available in Matte Black, Storm Gray, Transparent Red, and an Arctic Purple exclusive to Apple and Target. In late 2025, a retailer-exclusive Ivory color was introduced at Walmart in the U.S. and select international retailers. The new orange variant continues this trend of retailer-specific releases, offering consumers more personalized choices.
Interestingly, this orange colorway resembles a limited-edition version offered in India during October 2024. That special edition featured purple Beats logos and was part of a Diwali promotion where customers received the earbuds with the purchase of an iPhone 15 or iPhone 15 Plus. The current U.S. release at Best Buy features red Beats logos, distinguishing it from the earlier Indian version.
As of now, the orange Beats Solo Buds are priced at $69.99 at Best Buy, reflecting a $10 discount from the standard price.
