Cash App Launches $40/Month MVNO Service on AT&T Network

Cash App has introduced its own mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) service, Cash App Mobile, offering unlimited talk, text, and data for $40 per month. This service operates on AT&T’s network infrastructure.

In collaboration with Gigs, a startup specializing in white-label MVNO solutions, Cash App joins other fintech companies like Klarna and Lendable in providing mobile services. Gigs’ platform enables brands to offer customized mobile plans without extensive resources.

Cash App Mobile’s plan includes premium 5G data, unlimited HD streaming, 10GB of monthly hotspot usage within the U.S., and data roaming in Canada and Mexico. Users can manage their mobile service alongside their financial activities within the Cash App interface.

Currently, the service is available to select users, with broader availability expected soon.

Cash App’s entry into the MVNO market reflects a growing trend of fintech companies expanding their service offerings to enhance user engagement and diversify revenue streams. Integrating mobile services with financial platforms could lead to more seamless user experiences and increased customer loyalty.
