The 31st season of Major League Soccer (MLS) is set to commence on Saturday, February 21, 2026, bringing an exciting development for soccer enthusiasts worldwide. Apple has announced that all MLS matches will be available to Apple TV subscribers at no additional cost, eliminating the previous $14.99 monthly and $99 yearly MLS Season Pass fees. The season kicks off with the MLS is Back Weekend on February 21 and 22, featuring all 30 teams. Thirteen of the fifteen season openers are scheduled for Saturday, with the inaugural match between St. Louis and Charlotte at 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time. This season introduces the Walmart Saturday Showdown, a featured matchup each Saturday with enhanced production elements. Apple aims to make viewers feel more connected to the match, incorporating dynamic Shot on iPhone moments that capture the speed and emotion of live play.

Additionally, Sunday Night Soccer, presented by Continental Tire, returns on February 22 at 7 p.m. Eastern Time, starting with a matchup between LA Galaxy and New York City FC. These primetime games will include dedicated pregame and postgame coverage, featuring custom graphics in both English and Spanish.
