Google’s AI Plus Plan Now Available Globally, Including the U.S.
Google has announced the global availability of its AI Plus subscription plan, extending its reach to all markets where the company’s AI services are offered, including the United States. Priced at $7.99 per month in the U.S., this plan aims to make advanced AI tools more accessible to a broader audience.
The AI Plus plan provides subscribers with access to several of Google’s AI-powered applications:
– Gemini App: Users can utilize Gemini 3 Pro and Nano Banana Pro models for enhanced AI interactions.
– Flow: This AI-driven filmmaking tool assists in creating and editing videos with ease.
– NotebookLM: Offers research and writing assistance, streamlining the process of information gathering and content creation.
In addition to these tools, the subscription includes 200GB of cloud storage and allows sharing of benefits with up to five family members, promoting collaborative use.
Existing Google One Premium 2TB subscribers will automatically receive AI Plus benefits in the coming days, integrating AI capabilities into their current plans without additional steps.
Initially launched in Indonesia in September 2025, the AI Plus plan was designed to offer an affordable entry point into Google’s AI ecosystem, particularly targeting emerging markets. The plan’s pricing varies by region; for example, in India, it is available for ₹399 (approximately $4.44 USD) per month.
This strategic expansion positions Google to compete with similar offerings, such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT Go plan, which is priced at $8 per month in the U.S. By introducing a cost-effective subscription, Google aims to attract a wider user base, fostering increased adoption of AI technologies globally.
To encourage new subscribers, Google is offering a promotional discount of 50% off the first two months of the AI Plus subscription, making it an opportune time for users to explore these advanced AI tools.
