Apple’s Latest Ad Highlights NHL Goalie Masks Designed on iPad Pro

Apple has unveiled a new advertisement showcasing the creative potential of its iPad Pro and Apple Pencil Pro by highlighting the design process of NHL goalie masks. Released on November 22, 2025, the ad is part of Apple’s ongoing Made on iPad campaign, which emphasizes the tablet’s capabilities for creative professionals.

The advertisement features collaborations between NHL goalies and designers who utilized the iPad Pro to bring personalized mask designs to life. Notable partnerships include:

– Anthony Stolarz and Sam Montembeault worked with designer Jordon Bourgeault.

– Thatcher Demko and Dustin Wolf collaborated with Travis Michael.

– Adin Hill and Logan Thompson teamed up with Dave Fried.

The ad begins with simple two-dimensional sketches of animals, which are then transformed into intricate 3D models of the goalie masks. Throughout the video, messages between the artists and the NHL goalies are prominently displayed, illustrating the collaborative process.

In addition to the iPad Pro, the advertisement highlights the Apple Pencil Pro, introduced in May 2024 alongside the M4 variant of the iPad Pro. The Apple Pencil Pro offers features such as haptic feedback and a barrel roll gesture, enhancing the user experience for artists and designers.

This isn’t the first time Apple has spotlighted the iPad’s role in creative projects. In October 2024, a similar advertisement showcased designers working with NHL goalies to create custom masks. Earlier, in August 2021, Apple shared a clip of Olivia Rodrigo’s music video brutal, emphasizing the iPad’s contribution to the video’s production.

The Made on iPad campaign continues to demonstrate the versatility and power of the iPad Pro as a tool for creative professionals across various industries.
