Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge and Z Flip 7 FE Now Available at Record Low Prices

Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, both initially launched at premium price points, are now available at significantly reduced prices, aligning more closely with consumer expectations.

Galaxy S25 Edge:

The Galaxy S25 Edge, introduced with a starting price of approximately $1,000 for the base model and $1,219 for the 512GB variant, faced criticism for its high cost relative to its specifications. Currently, Amazon offers the 512GB model for $729 and the 256GB version for $689. These reductions make the device more accessible to a broader audience.

Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE:

Similarly, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE debuted at $959, a price point that many felt was steep given its similarities to the previous Galaxy Z Flip 6. Notably, the FE model lacks a full-size cover display, a feature absent in its predecessor as well. Presently, Woot offers the 256GB variant at $699, a significant drop from its original price. This deal surpasses previous discounts, such as the 256GB model’s reduction to $760 and the 128GB version’s drop to $699. Importantly, this offer does not require trade-ins.

Considerations:

Potential buyers should be aware that Woot’s sales are final, with no return options, and stock is limited. Samsung’s official website indicates that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is out of stock, likely due to adjusted production numbers in response to anticipated demand. The Galaxy S25 Edge also experienced a lukewarm reception at launch, leading to production cuts.

These substantial price reductions follow similar trends with other Samsung Fan Edition devices, such as the Galaxy Watch FE, which has seen significant discounts to clear inventory.

At these new price points, both the Galaxy S25 Edge and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE present compelling options for consumers seeking high-quality smartphones without the initial premium cost.
