Samsung has commenced the global deployment of its One UI 8 update, built upon Wear OS 6, for the Galaxy Watch 7 series. This significant update introduces a suite of enhancements aimed at refining user experience and functionality.
Key Features of One UI 8:
– Stackable Tiles: Users can now customize their watch interface by stacking multiple tiles, allowing for a more personalized and efficient navigation experience.
– Enhanced App Management: The update simplifies app organization, enabling users to manage and access their applications with greater ease.
– Health and Fitness Improvements: One UI 8 integrates advanced health monitoring tools, including Vascular Load readings and an Antioxidant Index, providing users with more comprehensive health insights.
The initial rollout of this update has been observed in South Korea, as indicated by a recent post from Twitter user @tarunvats33. The shared screenshot of the One UI 8 changelog confirms the commencement of the update in this region.
While the update is currently available for the 40mm and 44mm models of the Galaxy Watch 7, the Galaxy Watch Ultra is not included in this phase, having received its update in July 2025.
Samsung had previously announced in August 2025 that the One UI 8 update would be released later in the year. With the rollout now underway, it is anticipated that additional regions will receive the update in the coming days and weeks.
