Samsung Begins Stable Rollout of One UI 8 for Galaxy S25 Series

Samsung has officially commenced the stable release of its One UI 8 update, built upon Android 16, for the Galaxy S25 series. This development follows Google’s June rollout of Android 16 and a series of beta tests conducted by Samsung.

The One UI 8 beta program was initiated in July, with the stable version subsequently launched on the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Fold 7. As of September 15, 2025, Galaxy S25 users in Korea have started receiving the stable update. Reports indicate that the update is also reaching users in the UK, suggesting a broader global rollout is underway.

The update encompasses the entire Galaxy S25 lineup, including:

– Galaxy S25
– Galaxy S25+
– Galaxy S25 Ultra
– Galaxy S25 Edge

According to a recent schedule, the rollout is expected to extend to other regions in the coming week. Devices such as the Galaxy S24 series and Samsung’s foldable models are slated to receive the update shortly thereafter, with the process anticipated to continue through at least November.

Samsung has confirmed that the update is now available in the United States for Galaxy S25 series devices. The company plans to expand availability to the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, Galaxy Z Flip6, Galaxy S24 FE, and other selected products through October.
