Picsart, a leading AI-driven design platform, has introduced an innovative AI agent marketplace, enabling creators to hire virtual assistants for tasks such as resizing and remixing social content or editing product photos on Shopify. This development aims to streamline creative workflows and enhance productivity for its extensive user base.
With over 130 million users worldwide, predominantly from Generation Z, Picsart has established itself as a versatile tool for social media managers and content creators. Achieving unicorn status during the creator economy surge in 2021, the company has maintained its relevance by continually expanding its suite of AI-powered products to meet evolving market demands.
The launch of the AI agent marketplace aligns with the growing industry interest in agentic AI chatbots capable of executing tasks akin to personal assistants. Initially, the marketplace offers four specialized agents:
1. Flair: This agent integrates with Shopify to assist online store owners by analyzing market trends and recommending improvements, such as editing product photos for a cohesive look. Future updates will enable Flair to conduct A/B tests and identify underperforming products, offering proactive suggestions to boost sales.
2. Resize Pro: Designed to adjust images and videos to fit various platform dimensions, Resize Pro utilizes AI to extend frames generatively, ensuring resized media appears intentionally composed rather than arbitrarily cropped.
3. Remix: This agent allows creators to apply specific styles—like vintage film, watercolor, or cyberpunk—to their existing photo libraries, providing a cohesive aesthetic across their content.
4. Swap: Swap enables users to change photo backgrounds in bulk, facilitating efficient editing processes for multiple images.
