Google Restores Original Quick Access Control Layout in Pixel Camera 10.2 Update

Google has begun rolling out Pixel Camera version 10.2, reinstating the original order of the Quick Access Controls for brightness and shadow adjustments.

The Quick Access Controls, introduced last year, allow users to adjust white balance, brightness, and shadows by tapping the viewfinder, bringing up sliders on either side of the screen. In October’s version 10.1 update, the Material 3 Expressive redesign altered the sequence, placing the shadows slider before brightness and modifying the circular icons in the drag handle.

With the release of Pixel Camera 10.2, Google has reverted these changes, restoring the original layout where the brightness slider appears first, followed by shadows. This update also returns the drag handle icons to their previous design.

No additional changes have been observed in this update. The December 2025 update notes mention general improvements for camera stability under certain conditions for devices ranging from Pixel 9 to Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

As of now, Pixel Camera version 10.2.095.834499094.08 is not yet widely available on the Play Store.
