Google AI Mode Now Books Event Tickets, Beauty Appointments via Search

Google’s AI Mode Now Assists in Booking Event Tickets and Beauty Appointments

Google has unveiled enhanced functionalities in its AI Mode, enabling users to seamlessly book event tickets and schedule beauty and wellness appointments directly through Search. This advancement allows users to make specific requests, such as, Find me two affordable tickets for the upcoming Shaboozey concert, preferably standing floor tickets. AI Mode then scours multiple platforms in real-time to present a curated list of ticket options that align with the user’s preferences, complete with direct links to finalize the purchase.

These new agentic capabilities are currently accessible to users enrolled in Google’s experimental platform, Search Labs, within the United States. Subscribers to Google AI Pro and Ultra benefit from higher usage limits, enhancing their experience.

The introduction of these features builds upon AI Mode’s previous expansion in August, which included assistance in making restaurant reservations. Users could specify multiple preferences—such as party size, date, time, location, and desired cuisine—and AI Mode would provide a curated list of available options.

Google emphasizes its commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality information through Search. While these new features are grounded in Google’s core quality and safety systems, the company acknowledges that AI Mode is still in an experimental phase and may occasionally make errors.

Since its initial launch in March, AI Mode has expanded to over 180 countries and continues to evolve with new functionalities. Recent additions include the Canvas feature, which aids in building study plans and organizing information across multiple sessions, and integration with Google Lens, allowing users to inquire about on-screen content directly.
