Gemini App Rolls Out ‘Answer Now’ for Faster User Interactions Across All Platforms

Gemini App Introduces ‘Answer Now’ Feature for Swift Responses

Google’s Gemini app has unveiled a new feature called Answer Now, designed to expedite user interactions by bypassing the app’s traditional in-depth processing. This addition aims to provide quicker responses, enhancing the overall user experience.

When utilizing the Pro (Gemini 3 Pro) or Thinking (Gemini 3 Flash) models, users will notice an Answer Now button adjacent to the spinning status indicator. This feature is not available with the Fast (Gemini 3 Flash) model. Upon activation, a confirmation message appears, indicating that Gemini is Skipping in-depth thinking, followed by a prompt response.

Importantly, the Answer Now function utilizes the selected model to generate answers, ensuring consistency in response quality without defaulting to the Fast model. This feature replaces the previous Skip button and is being rolled out across both free and paid Gemini accounts on Android, iOS, and the web.

This update is part of Gemini’s ongoing efforts to enhance user interaction by offering more efficient and personalized features. Recently, the app introduced Personal Intelligence, which leverages data from Google services like Gmail and Photos to tailor responses to individual users. Additionally, Gemini has implemented a memory feature that recalls user preferences, allowing for more customized interactions.

The introduction of Answer Now reflects Google’s commitment to refining the Gemini app, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of its user base by providing both depth and speed in its responses.
