AppleCare+ Launches in Indonesia, Enhancing Device Protection and Support

AppleCare+ Now Available in Indonesia: Comprehensive Protection for Your Apple Devices

Apple has officially launched AppleCare+ in Indonesia, offering customers across the nation enhanced hardware protection and expert technical support for a wide range of Apple products. This expansion allows Indonesian users to extend their device coverage beyond the standard warranty, ensuring peace of mind and reliable service.

Standard Warranty vs. AppleCare+

Typically, Apple products come with a one-year limited warranty covering hardware failures and manufacturing defects, along with up to 90 days of complimentary technical support. With the introduction of AppleCare+ in Indonesia, users can now extend this coverage and gain additional benefits, including:

– Accidental Damage Protection: Coverage for incidents such as drops and spills.
– Battery Service: Replacement services when battery capacity falls below 80%.
– 24/7 Priority Access: Round-the-clock access to Apple support teams for immediate assistance.

Eligible Devices

AppleCare+ in Indonesia encompasses a variety of Apple products, including:

– iPhone
– iPad
– Mac
– Apple Watch
– Pro Display XDR
– Apple TV

Service Options

Customers can access repair and service options through Apple Authorized Service Providers across Indonesia. Available services include:

– Mail-in Repairs: Convenient for those unable to visit a service center.
– In-store Repairs: Direct service at authorized locations.
– On-site Service for Mac: Eligible Mac users may receive service at their location.
– Global Repair Coverage: Assistance through Apple’s international network for customers traveling abroad, subject to local parts and service availability.

Purchasing AppleCare+

Customers can purchase AppleCare+ at the time of buying a qualifying device or within 12 months of the original purchase date. For detailed pricing and plan information, Apple directs customers in Indonesia to its local AppleCare+ webpage.

Collaborative Efforts

Prior to this official launch, Apple collaborated with local partners to offer device protection services. In August 2025, insurtech company bolttech partnered with iBox, Indonesia’s largest Apple Premium Reseller, to introduce TecProtec with AppleCare Services. This program provided iPhone buyers with certified repairs using genuine Apple parts and expert support backed by AppleCare Services. The offering included door-to-door pickup and return, with service handled by authorized Apple Service Providers nationwide.

Customer Assurance

With the official rollout of AppleCare+ in Indonesia, Apple strengthens its after-sales support presence, providing customers with more protection options for their devices. This initiative reflects Apple’s commitment to delivering the best experience for customers worldwide.
