Apple to Introduce Vibrant New Colors in Upcoming iMac Refresh
Apple is set to invigorate its iMac lineup with a fresh array of colors in an upcoming update slated for later this year. This move marks a significant shift since the last color refresh in October 2024, when the M4 iMac was introduced.
The current M4 iMac, launched in October 2024, is available in seven color options: blue, purple, pink, orange, yellow, green, and silver. Notably, the M3 iMac did not feature any new color variations, and Apple bypassed the M2 chip for the iMac series altogether.
According to Mark Gurman’s Power On newsletter for Bloomberg, Apple plans to launch an iMac refresh in new colors later this year. While specific details about the new color palette remain under wraps, this development has sparked considerable excitement among Apple enthusiasts.
Historically, Apple’s approach to iMac colors has been both strategic and reflective of consumer preferences.
