Apple Intelligence Debuts on Vision Pro with US English Support

Apple has released visionOS 2.4, introducing Apple Intelligence features to the Vision Pro headset. Currently, these AI capabilities are available exclusively in US English, requiring users to set both the system language and Siri to this language to access the new features.

The Apple Intelligence suite for Vision Pro mirrors the functionalities previously introduced on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Users can now utilize Writing Tools, Image Playground, Genmoji, and text summarization on their headsets. Notably, there are no Vision Pro-specific AI features, and the device lacks Visual Intelligence capabilities present on the iPhone.

In addition to AI enhancements, visionOS 2.4 introduces the Spatial Gallery app, offering curated photos, videos, and spatial panoramas. The update also simplifies the process of sharing the Vision Pro with guests. Users can install visionOS 2.4 by navigating to Settings > General > Software Update.

The Vision Pro is currently available in select countries, including Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, the UAE, the UK, and the US. Given this limited availability, Apple has prioritized US English support for its initial AI rollout on the device.
