Leagues Cup 2026 Kicks Off on Apple TV Tomorrow

Apple has announced that the Leagues Cup 2026, an annual soccer tournament featuring teams from Major League Soccer (MLS) and Liga MX, will commence tomorrow. All 62 matches of the tournament will be accessible to Apple TV subscribers at no additional cost in over 100 countries and regions.

The competition includes 18 of the 30 MLS teams and all 18 Liga MX teams. The top three teams will earn spots in the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup, with the champion securing a direct berth into the Round of 16. Success in the Champions Cup can lead to qualification for the FIFA Club World Cup and other international tournaments.

The tournament’s schedule is as follows:

  • Phase One: August 4–13
  • Quarterfinals: August 25–27
  • Semifinals: September 1–2
  • Final and Third-Place Matches: September 6
