Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 8 has surfaced in new leaks, revealing a device that closely mirrors its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 7, with only a handful of minor updates.
The Galaxy Z Flip 8 maintains the same design and dimensions as the previous model, with a slight increase in thickness by approximately 0.2 millimeters in both height and width when unfolded. The device is marginally lighter, weighing 180 grams compared to the 188 grams of the Galaxy Z Flip 7.
Under the hood, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2600 processor, marking a shift from the Snapdragon chipset used in earlier models. This change may disappoint users who preferred the performance of Snapdragon processors. The device offers 12GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB or 512GB.
The display setup remains consistent with a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x inner screen featuring a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 4.1-inch Super AMOLED outer display. The camera system is unchanged, comprising a 50MP wide lens, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP front-facing camera.
One notable improvement is the enhanced charging capability. The Galaxy Z Flip 8 supports 45W wired charging, a step up from the 25W charging in the previous model. The battery capacity is slightly increased to 4,300 mAh.
The device will be available in Graphite, Cream, and Pink color options. Pricing is set at €1,299 for the 256GB model and €1,499 for the 512GB variant.
