Apple’s Foldable ‘iPhone Ultra’ and Apple TV 4K: Latest Updates

As Apple gears up for its annual iPhone event in September, anticipation builds around the debut of the company’s first foldable smartphone, the ‘iPhone Ultra.’ This device is expected to be unveiled alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. However, industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo suggests that, akin to the iPhone X launch in 2017, the iPhone Ultra may experience a staggered release. Manufacturing challenges have reportedly constrained early production, potentially delaying pre-orders until the fourth quarter of 2026.

The iPhone Ultra is rumored to feature a 5.5-inch external display and a 7.8-inch internal display, offering a design thinner than the iPhone Air when unfolded. This form factor is reminiscent of the iPad mini, providing users with a compact yet expansive screen experience. Despite its anticipated high price point, ranging between $2,300 and $2,500, demand is expected to be robust, potentially leading to immediate sell-outs and extended delivery times.
