The funding round was led by Radical Ventures, with additional investments from Nvidia Ventures, Intel Capital, Dell Technologies Capital, and Iconiq. Notable angel investors, including founders from companies like Perplexity, Box, Harvey, Cognition, and Mercor, also participated.
Established in 2024, Prime Intellect aims to equip organizations with the tools to train their own AI systems without relying on major AI labs. For instance, Ramp utilized Prime Intellect’s platform to develop an agent that efficiently extracts answers from spreadsheets, achieving higher accuracy and faster speeds at a reduced cost compared to existing models.
