Fitbit 4.68 Update: Sleep Editing for Android, Enhanced Coach Features Unveiled

Fitbit 4.68 Update Introduces Sleep Editing and Enhanced Coach Features

Fitbit has released version 4.68 of its app for Android and iOS, bringing significant enhancements to sleep tracking and the Coach feature.

Sleep Log Editing

Android users can now edit their sleep logs directly within the app. By selecting the previous night’s sleep summary and accessing the three-dot menu, users can choose Edit Sleep to make adjustments. This functionality is expected to be available for iOS users soon.

Enhanced Coach Features

The update introduces several improvements to the Coach feature:

– Personalized Motivational Messages: Users will receive tailored messages throughout the day, including Morning Moments, Post-Workout Summaries, and End-of-Day or End-of-Week updates, aimed at keeping them motivated.

– Conversational Check-Ins: The revamped text check-in feature allows for more natural interactions with the Coach, enhancing user engagement.

– Step-by-Step Workout Guidance: When a workout is received from the Coach, the app provides detailed, step-by-step instructions to guide users through their exercise routines.

– Flexible Weekly Targets and Recommendations: Based on user feedback, the Coach now offers personalized weekly targets and tailored workout recommendations to help users achieve their health goals more effectively.

Additionally, Fitbit has previewed a forthcoming feature that will enable users to adapt their workout plans through conversational interactions with the Coach. This will include Adapt missions or Adapt workout options within the Fitness tab, slated for a future update.

The Fitbit 4.68 update is currently available for iOS and is gradually rolling out to Android users.
