Introduction of VO2 Max

This feature provides users with insights into their cardiovascular fitness levels and appears under the Key Metrics section in the Fitness tab of the app.

Health Records Integration in the U.S.

For users in the United States, Fitbit has rolled out a Medical Records feature within the Public Preview app. This functionality allows users to link their medical records, including lab results, medications, and visit history, directly to the Fitbit app. By consolidating this information, users can gain a more holistic view of their health, enabling more informed decisions and personalized health insights.

Recent Enhancements and Features

This expansion follows a series of recent updates aimed at enhancing user experience:

– Water and Food Logging: Users can now set calorie targets, log meals, and track water intake, facilitating better nutrition management. Personalized macronutrient ranges offer a flexible approach to dietary tracking.

– Cycle Health Tracking: The app now includes features for logging menstrual cycles and symptoms. Premium subscribers receive personalized cycle insights from the Fitbit Coach, aiding in reproductive health management.

– Mental Wellbeing Tools: Users can track mindfulness sessions and log moods to gain deeper insights into their mental health. An updated stress management score, termed Resilience, helps users understand their body’s response to stress more effectively.
