Apple Music’s Latest iOS 26.4 Beta Introduces AI-Powered Playlists and Enhanced Features
Apple has unveiled the iOS 26.4 developer beta, bringing significant enhancements to Apple Music. The standout addition is the Playlist Playground, an Apple Intelligence-driven feature that crafts personalized playlists based on user-generated text prompts. Users can input moods, activities, or genres, and Apple Music will curate a matching playlist, which can be further customized by reordering or refining the selections. This feature is accessible within the Library tab by tapping the new playlist button. Additionally, iOS 26.4 introduces a concert discovery section, highlighting nearby tour dates directly within the app, and revamps album and playlist pages with full-screen artwork for a more immersive browsing experience. Currently in beta, these features may require background downloads of Apple Intelligence models via the Apple Intelligence and Siri section in Settings. The developer beta is available now, with a public beta expected in the coming weeks.
