Samsung’s forthcoming Galaxy Buds 4 series is poised to introduce notable design and functionality enhancements, as recent leaks have unveiled. The base model is set to undergo a significant transformation, adopting an open-ear design reminiscent of Apple’s standard AirPods. This shift aligns with Samsung’s previous move during the Galaxy Buds 3 generation, where the Pro variant featured silicone eartips for passive noise cancellation, while the base model embraced an open-ear design.
The latest insights, sourced from a leaked One UI 8.5 build, reveal that the Galaxy Buds 4 will showcase a new brushed metal finish. This aesthetic choice mirrors the design language of the Pro model but omits the silicone eartips, catering to users who prefer a more natural fit.
A standout feature in the upcoming Galaxy Buds 4 is the introduction of a physical gesture to activate the Interpreter mode. Users can initiate real-time translation by pinching and holding the stems of both earbuds simultaneously, eliminating the need to access their smartphone or tablet.
