Lambda and Microsoft Forge Multi-Billion-Dollar AI Infrastructure Partnership
In a significant move to bolster artificial intelligence capabilities, cloud-computing firm Lambda has entered into a multi-billion-dollar agreement with Microsoft. This partnership aims to deploy tens of thousands of Nvidia GPUs, including the advanced GB300 NVL72 systems, to enhance AI infrastructure.

Founded in 2012, Lambda has been at the forefront of AI infrastructure development, securing $1.7 billion in venture funding. The company’s expertise in AI computing solutions has positioned it as a key player in the industry.
This agreement follows Microsoft’s recent $9.7 billion deal with Australian data center company IREN to expand AI cloud capacity. Additionally, OpenAI has announced a $38 billion cloud computing deal with Amazon to procure cloud services over the next seven years.
These developments underscore the escalating demand for robust AI infrastructure as companies strive to meet the computational needs of advanced AI applications.
