Apple’s Upcoming Crossbody Strap Accessory: A First Look

As anticipation builds for Apple’s Awe dropping iPhone 17 event, new leaks have surfaced, offering a glimpse into the company’s latest accessory: the crossbody strap designed for the upcoming iPhone 17 lineup.

Renowned leaker Sonny Dickson recently shared images showcasing this new accessory in a vibrant orange hue. The design aligns with previous leaks, notably those from August when leaker Majin Bu revealed images of Apple’s TechWoven case packaging. The packaging featured illustrations indicating two lanyard holes, suggesting compatibility with the crossbody strap. The loops visible at the ends of the strap in Dickson’s images correspond to these lanyard holes, reinforcing the accessory’s intended integration with the new cases.

The crossbody strap is expected to offer users a hands-free carrying option, enhancing convenience and accessibility. This design caters to individuals who prefer to keep their devices within easy reach without occupying their hands or pockets.

Apple’s commitment to expanding its accessory lineup reflects its dedication to providing users with versatile and practical solutions. The introduction of the crossbody strap aligns with the company’s ongoing efforts to enhance user experience through thoughtful design and functionality.

The official unveiling of the crossbody strap, along with its color variations and compatibility details, is anticipated at Apple’s upcoming event on September 9. The keynote is scheduled to stream live at 10:00 AM PT / 1:00 PM ET and can be viewed on Apple’s website, YouTube, or the Apple TV app.
