This vision builds upon recent enhancements to ChatGPT’s memory capabilities. In April 2025, OpenAI introduced a feature allowing ChatGPT to reference all past conversations, enabling more personalized and context-aware interactions. This upgrade was initially rolled out to Pro and Plus subscribers, with plans to extend access to other user tiers in the future. Users have the option to manage this feature through settings, including the ability to disable memory, clear stored data, or engage in temporary conversations without memory usage.
